S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole has been forced to put his Brit award back on eBay after the winning bidder failed to pay up.
The 40-year-old previously revealed that he was selling the award because he was “skint”, and was delighted when one generous fan placed a bid of £66,000 on the statuette.
However, the winning bidder refused to pay up for the prize and Cattermole has since re-listed the item on the auction site, which currently stands at £15,300.
In the item description, the Don’t Stop Movin’ singer wrote: “Here is the 2000 Master Card Brit Award for Best Newcomer Belonging To Paul Cattermole from S Club 7.
Cattermole was one of the original members of S Club 7 that broke hearts across the nation until he quit quit the band in 2002.
