Matt Goss fails again to draw in fan's to his Studly Castle show's

Editor Stephen Hill 11th August 2024

Former 80's front man Matt Goss recent show was a dismissal flop. The singer was initially scheduled to perform at two shows, with one having to be canceled at Heythorp Park in July due to only ten rooms being sold for that performance.

To boost attendance for the second show on the date 10th August, the hotel had already enlisted Nathan Moore from the 80s boy band Brother Beyond to join the lineup on the 9th August.

Matt performance on the night was seen by fewer than eighty of his devoted fans.
The performance itself was a mix of his well-known Vegas show and Bros hits.
The singer's lackluster delivery, including a swing rendition of his Bros hits like "I Owe You Nothing," left much to be desired.

Despite efforts to create the impression of a busy show the room again was blacked out with fewer than 80 fans standing in close proximity to the stage,
The fan's who did attend seemed to be familiar faces and regular attendees of Matt's shows.

Warner Hotel stated that they had sold plenty of rooms for the weekend and they did everything they could to promote the singer and the show explaining to their customer that the show was being put on free of charge by the hotel with there customer declining to the attend the free show.

  2. Matt now from bygone era. He had more comeback attempts than I care to remember and they all gone to pot. The problem with him is that he delusional and really he music good when it fact it's appalling. The shows are never any good.

  3. Matt had his time. His ego, failed attempts to try and become a solo star destroyed Bros, his relationship with his brother and Craig Logan. Yet he never amounted to no more than a poor cabaret act.😂😂😂

  5. I think fans have been messed about so much by Matt and ripped of that we no longer interested in going to his show. It never changes and his voice is not great and songs are well crap.

  6. I agree the show wasn’t anything new, it was OK at best but we enjoyed the weekend as a whole.

There were way more than 80 people there though. Not sure who Stephen Hill is but this article is really poorly written in parts.

  7. It's time for Matt Goss to recognise that his pursuit of a solo career has waned. His persistence abusive behaviour towards his brother band his narcissistic personality have not helped his case. Simply put, as a Bros fan , Matt Goss is no longer favoured. Fans will never forget how he tore the band apart and selfishly treated Luke and Craig for his own selfish gains.

  8. It's nice to see the truth being told about Matt's shows. But be careful as the 50 nut jobs in MGA will not be happy. Deluded singer and deluded tiny fan base.😜😜😜

  9. I see the not right Peter Stevenson is doing his usual thing to try and initiate others because he doesn't agree with this article. For me the article correct in content. Keep up the good work.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  10. Matt Goss has never had successful shows, because his management are useless. Plus his shows are dated and dull.

  11. Matt Goss whilst in Vegas couldn't sellout a150 Capacity room. His show at the palladium was a disasters. The general facts are that Matt is a one trick pony, his voice is not great anymore and that's why can't sing the high notes anymore. Fans clearly don't like his solo stuff, even Gary Barlow told Matt to forget his solo career and get Bros back together.

  12. I've gave up following Matt Goss back in 2014 as he just became deluded about his career and how he and Rob just disrespected fans and the numerous canned performance. .

  13. I work at Studley Castle and all I will say is that not many hotel customers attended the show or were interested in Mr Goss.
