Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have officially made history with their collaboration "Rein Me In," achieving an incredible milestone as the song takes the record for the most consecutive weeks in the Top 40 before finally reaching Number 1!
With a remarkable 35-week journey since its entry into the Top 40 in June 2025, the song has become a beloved favorite, previously peaking at Number 5 on three occasions. The moment has come for the duo as they celebrate this well-deserved coronation! They have set a new record, surpassing Ed Sheeran’s "Thinking Out Loud," which previously held the record with 19 weeks in the Top 40 before claiming the top spot in 2014.
This is a monumental achievement for Fender, marking his first-ever Official Number 1 single, beating his previous record of Number 3 with "Seventeen Going Under" in 2021. And let’s not forget Olivia, who secures her second Singles crown after her hit "Man I Need" soared to Number 1 last October.
