Sam Fender & Olivia Dean's 'Rein Me In' is No. 1 in UK

Sam Fender and Olivia Dean have officially made history with their collaboration "Rein Me In," achieving an incredible milestone as the song takes the record for the most consecutive weeks in the Top 40 before finally reaching Number 1!

 With a remarkable 35-week journey since its entry into the Top 40 in June 2025, the song has become a beloved favorite, previously peaking at Number 5 on three occasions. The moment has come for the duo as they celebrate this well-deserved coronation! They have set a new record, surpassing Ed Sheeran’s "Thinking Out Loud," which previously held the record with 19 weeks in the Top 40 before claiming the top spot in 2014. 

This is a monumental achievement for Fender, marking his first-ever Official Number 1 single, beating his previous record of Number 3 with "Seventeen Going Under" in 2021. And let’s not forget Olivia, who secures her second Singles crown after her hit "Man I Need" soared to Number 1 last October. 

 It’s a fantastic week for Olivia Dean as her other hit "So Easy (To Fall In Love)" narrowly misses the top position but climbs to a brilliant Number 2! Meanwhile, "Man I Need" is back on the rise, jumping four places to Number 4.  

Zara Larsson also has reason to celebrate as "Lush Life" equals its Number 3 peak nearly a decade later! Thanks to a viral resurgence fueled by 2016 trends and fantastic choreography, can this track continue its impressive climb? 

 PinkPantheress is breaking new ground thanks to Zara’s feature on her track "Stateside," which has arrived in the Top 10 (9). 

Superstar sombr has another reason to shine with "Homewrecker" soaring seven places to Number 7, marking their fourth Top 10 single in less than a year! Be sure to catch them at the BRIT Awards on February 28. 

Nostalgia is in the air as the cherished 2000s hit "Just The Way You Are" makes a triumphant return, rising nine spots to Number 14 and breaking into the Top 20 for the first time in 24 years! The Mall Grab remix is doing wonders—can it surpass its 2022 Number 8 peak. 

Charli xcx is lighting up the charts as three tracks from her companion album, following the release of "Wuthering Heights," break into the Top 40: "Chains of Love" hits a new peak at 17, while "Dying for You" and "Always Everywhere" also make their mark at 27 and 33, respectively.  

 This week's highest new entry comes from the phenomenal Bad Bunny! His 2022 hit "Tití Me Preguntó" lands at Number 18, marking a seventh Top 40 entry for the Puerto Rican superstar.  

Dominic Fike continues his climb as "Babydoll" rises seven places to Number 23 after rebounding into the Top 40 last week, while the rising star Bella Kay is making waves with "iloveitiloveitiloveit," skyrocketing an impressive 13 spots to become the highest climber this week at Number 26. Big things are certainly on the horizon for Bella in 2026.

 West London rapper Central Cee makes his mark with "ICEMAN FREESTYLE," achieving an impressive 34th entry in the Top 40 at Number 37.  

 Last but not least, Sean Paul’s classic "(When You Gonna) Give It Up To Me" featuring Keyshia Cole re-enters the Top 40 after 20 years, thanks to a resurgence on social media, landing at Number 38!  What an inspiring week for music!
