The band's members—Bob Stanley, Pete Wiggs, and Sarah Cracknell—will take to the stage in Brighton as a part of their farewell tour, an emotional culmination of their extensive career together.
Saint Etienne first graced the stage on 15 November 1990 at the renowned Heaven nightclub in London, shortly after launching their debut single, "Only Love Can Break Your Heart." Throughout their illustrious career, they have shared the stage with iconic British acts such as Oasis, Stereolab, Broadcast, and Pulp. Additionally, they have performed at festivals alongside global superstars like James Brown and Kylie Minogue, further solidifying their status in the music industry.
Their final studio album, titled "International," was released in September 2025 and has garnered widespread acclaim from critics, who have hailed it as a masterfully crafted homage to the eclectic sound that has come to define Saint Etienne's legacy. The album serves as a poignant reminder of their artistic evolution and enduring influence in the indie pop genre.
Over the past three decades, the group has released 17 UK Top 40 singles and 13 studio albums, establishing themselves as a pivotal force in British pop history. Although they have hinted at the possibility of performances in Europe, North America, Japan, or Australia, they have firmly confirmed that 2026 will mark the final year fans can experience their electrifying live shows in the UK. This tour is not just a farewell; it's a celebration of a remarkable journey filled with creativity, passion, and unforgettable music.
A true iconic 90s band .
