The festive season is in full swing, and music charts are feeling the buzz. This week, we have a lineup of potential chart climbers, starting with Kylie Minogue’s latest release, an Amazon Music Original track titled “XMAS,” which is projected to surge a remarkable 55 positions up to Number 9.
In addition to Kylie’s achievement, classic holiday favorites are also showing strong momentum. Wham!’s beloved “Last Christmas” is currently sitting at Number 5, while Mariah Carey’s iconic anthem “All I Want for Christmas Is You” looks poised to ascend further, holding steady at Number 7.

Several other Christmas classics are making a concerted effort to break into the Top 20. Among them, Brenda Lee with her timeless hit “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” is positioned at Number 11, followed closely by Kelly Clarkson’s festive favorite “Underneath the Tree” at Number 14. Ariana Grande, known for her robust vocal prowess, is making waves with “Santa Tell Me” at Number 15. Meanwhile, “Fairytale of New York” by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl is charting at Number 16, and Shakin’ Stevens’ cheerful “Merry Christmas Everyone” rounds out this festive group at Number 18.  Anticipated new holiday entries into the Top 40 include an array of perennial favorites: Elton John’s classic “Step Into Christmas” is currently at Number 24, and Band Aid’s 1984 charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” follows closely at Number 25. Gwen Stefani’s “Shake The Snow Globe” is making its mark at Number 28, while the enchanting “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams sits at Number 29.

Michael BublĂ©’s charming rendition of “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” is at Number 35, and JosĂ© Feliciano’s joyful “Feliz Navidad” holds the Number 36 spot. “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by Darlene Love is at Number 37, Paul McCartney’s festive staple “Wonderful Christmastime” is at Number 39, and The Ronettes bring up the rear with “Sleigh Ride” at Number 40.  In other news, Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s collaborative track “Rein Me In” is making a bold move in the charts, aiming for the Number 1 position as it’s set to climb two spots to reach Number 3. This surge follows the release of a limited-edition 7” vinyl variant of the song last week, coinciding with Record Store Day, which has undoubtedly boosted its visibility and sales.

This trend means that RAYE’s poignant anthem “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” currently retains its grip on the Number 2 position, while Taylor Swift’s evocative single “The Fate of Ophelia” continues its reign at the top, potentially securing its seventh consecutive week at Number 1.  Newcomers HAVEN and Kaitlin Aragon with their track “I Run” are on track to crash into the Top 20, soaring an impressive 24 places to reach Number 13 as their music enjoys viral success across various platforms.  Lastly, Central Cee is poised for a noteworthy debut with his new single “Booga,” which is projected to be this week's highest new entry at Number 26. Additionally, former Number 1 hit “The Subway” by Chappell Roan may be making a comeback, as it looks to re-enter the Top 40 after the recent release of a limited-edition vinyl featuring the track alongside “The Giver” as a B-side, currently positioned at Number 32
