Pop Princess Kylie Minogue has received an early Christmas present, claiming the Official chart  Number 1 spot this week with her  new album *Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)*. This reissue of her beloved 2015 festive album, which originally peaked at Number 12 on the charts, marks an impressive milestone for Kylie, as it becomes her 11th UK Number 1 album. 

With this achievement, she joins the ranks of legendary artists such as David Bowie, Eminem, and Rod Stewart, all of whom share similar accolades for having the most UK Number 1 albums.  
As the holiday season approaches, this announcement sets a festive tone, coinciding perfectly with the beginning of the competitive race for this year’s Christmas Number 1. Industry speculation suggests that this release could foreshadow the upcoming dynamics of the chart. Alongside this, Kylie has launched limited edition vinyl and signed CD versions of her new single, "XMAS," which hit the shelves today. 

Her continued prominence in this year’s chart race positions her as a key contender, eagerly watched by fans and critics alike.  In addition, *Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped)* has not only topped the Official Album Vinyl Chart, but it also achieved remarkable sales figures, confirming its status as the best-selling vinyl in the past week. Furthermore, the album has been crowned the most popular in UK independent record shops, as per the Official Record Store Chart, solidifying its appeal among vinyl enthusiasts.  

In other notable developments, Sam Fender's deluxe reissue of his Mercury Prize-winning album *People Watching* has made an incredible leap, jumping 31 spots to reclaim a place in the Top 5, landing at Number 3. This resurgence highlights the album’s enduring popularity and critical reception. Olivia Rodrigo's *Live From Glastonbury (A BBC Recording)* has entered the Top 20 at Number 12, following the much-anticipated release of its physical variants, showcasing her impactful performance at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival.  Moreover, Noah Kahan’s former Number 1 album, *Stick Season*, has made an impressive comeback, rebounding into the Top 20 at Number 19.
