How a little paralyzed Westie has captured the hearts of the UK and achieved the incredible feat of reaching the number one spot on iTunes with her uplifting Christmas single 

"Wheelie Good Christmas".  

Pumpkin was adopted by Tammy and her partner when she was just eight weeks old. From the outset, it was clear that Pumpkin faced significant challenges, as she was unable to use her back legs. 

Her inspiring journey soon went viral after Tammy shared their story online, attracting the support of thousands who generously donated money for her medical treatment.

However, an MRI scan revealed heartbreaking news: Pumpkin’s spine and legs had been broken, a discovery that left us devastated. Specialists confirmed that she would never walk again. Despite this, Pumpkin remains a source of joy; she is paralyzed from the waist down and also doubly incontinent, yet she experiences no pain. 

The love we have for Pumpkin, our cherished family member, knows no bounds, and we are committed to providing her with the best life possible.  

Adapting to her new reality, Pumpkin’s life is now one of mobility on wheels, and her spirit is unbreakable. She is an exceptionally happy and determined dog, thriving in spite of her disabilities. Her days are filled with adventures, from exploring the great outdoors to spreading happiness in her community. 

As a passionate advocate for disabled dogs, Pumpkin serves as a therapy dog, bringing comfort and joy to those in need, brightening the lives of everyone she encounters.  In our quest to make a difference, we have established a registered charity called Pumpkin and Friends (Charity Number 1199484). 

Through our efforts, we aim to raise awareness about the challenges faced by disabled animals and support families who care for them. We believe that having a disability isn’t a death sentence; rather, it marks the beginning of a remarkable new adventure.   In an exciting new chapter, Pumpkin has released her own Christmas single, which soared to the top of the iTunes charts. All proceeds from this uplifting song will go directly to support other disabled dogs, enabling us to continue our mission of advocacy and assistance. With every note, Pumpkin hopes to inspire others to embrace life’s challenges with love, joy, and determination.
