Those Damn Crows score their first UK No.1 album with God Shaped Hole

Welsh rock band Those Damn Crows have proudly achieved their first UK No. 1 album with *God Shaped Hole*, their fourth release. This remarkable accomplishment sees them rise above notable artists like Sabrina Carpenter, US singer Bon Iver, Oasis, and Ed Sheeran.  In a powerful message on social media, the band expressed: “We are struggling to find the words to express our emotions right now, but we know how we achieved this incredible victory. One word describes it best: TOGETHER! 

 “Our dream has come true, and our band is now forever etched in music history. This is something that can never be taken from us as we shout from the rooftops… Those Damn Crows have a number one album!  *God Shaped Hole* will forever be a special record for us.  We felt its significance while writing and recording, and now even more so, as you, our fans, have embraced it like no other album we have made before. Your support has helped us soar to the top of the charts, where we proudly maintained our DEFIANCE until it became official!  

Your unwavering love means we have already won, regardless of where the album landed. But make no mistake, we ALL aimed for the top spot, and TOGETHER we achieved it!  We’re on cloud nine right now, and it’s going to take time for us to come back down to earth. With smiles wide and tears in our eyes, we can proudly say… We did it!!!!  Shane, Ronnie, Lloyd, Dave, and Shiner.”  Those Damn Crows formed in South Wales in 2014, releasing their debut album, *The Murder And The Motive*, in 2018. “With us Crows, quitting isn’t an option. We’ve come too far; it’s not even a thought,” says singer Shane Greenhall. 

“This is just another milestone towards the bigger picture, towards the so-called End Game!”  *God Shaped Hole* marks the first hard rock/metal album to reach No. 1 since Linkin Park's comeback album *From Zero* in November 2024.
