While the idea of performing live music may seem glamorous and romantic, the reality is that it demands significant hard work, and touring is an essential part of the job for successful artists.

Unfortunately, for Matt Goss, his "Hits and More" tour has turned out to be nothing short of a spectacular failure.
To date, the singer has completed seven shows across various cities, including Bristol, Blackpool, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Middlesbrough, and Birmingham.
Yet, a disappointing total of just 2,710 tickets have been sold for the past 7 shows in total,  even with tickets priced as low as £5.00.
In fact, over 8,463 tickets were withdrawn from sale due to a striking lack of interest from fans.

Tonight's show in Nottingham further exemplifies the ongoing challenges of Matt's tour. He is set to perform at the Nottingham Theatre Royal, which has a capacity of 1,186, yet the expected turnout is fewer than 400 fans, leaving an astonishing 786 tickets unsold.
In a desperate move, the promoters resorted to using seat-filling services and offered a deal of two tickets for just £15.00.

Sadly, this initiative has not sparked the desired interest. A few fans who attended earlier shows did take advantage of the offer, recognizing it as a rare opportunity to see a performance at such a low price.
As the performance unfolds, reviews are proving to be mixed. While about 50 loyal fans expressed their enjoyment, many others have criticized the show for its lack of atmosphere and overall dullness.
We reached out to the theater, which confirmed the startlingly low ticket sales for the show.

At this point, Matt Goss's tour is being recognized as one of the most disastrous in UK music history concerning ticket sales. This stark reality raises questions about the singer's future in the industry and underscores the challenges artists face in maintaining audience engagement in a competitive landscape.
