Extraordinary! Alex Warren celebrates first-ever Number 1 single.

Alex Warren achieved a remarkable milestone today by claiming his first UK Number 1 single with "Ordinary."
This breakout US singer-songwriter, who rose to fame on social media, climbed one spot this week, preventing Chappell Roan from replacing herself at the top.
"Ordinary," a captivating chamber-pop song inspired by Hozier and Florence + The Machine, previously peaked at Number 2 and is Alex's inaugural track to reach the
UK Top 10.
It concludes the week as the most-streamed track in the country, with 5.6 million streams. Furthermore, Alex’s first Top 40 single, "Carry You Home," ascended four spots to a new peak of Number 20, while "Burning Down" surged five spots to reach a new high of Number 28.
Speaking exclusively to Official Charts, Alex Warren shared his heartfelt gratitude, stating, “Thank you to the UK for the Number 1 single of the week; I promise I won't let you down – I’ll make you proud!”
Though Chappell Roan didn't claim the Number 1 position, she secured the highest new entry of the week with "The Giver," debuting at Number 2.
This uplifting sapphic country-bop track becomes her fourth UK Top 10 single and her first to debut within the Top 10.
Doechii’s viral hit "Anxiety" soared to a new peak of Number 3, affirming it as the rising superstar’s highest-charting single in the UK and her first Top 3 single here. Meanwhile, Sabrina Carpenter, currently shining on her UK & European tour, saw "Busy Woman" climb two spots to a new high of Number 6.
Playboi Carti debuted two new tracks from his album "MUSIC" in the Top 10: "EVIL J0RDAN" at Number 7 and "RATHER LIE" featuring The Weeknd at Number 10, bringing Carti’s total of Top 10 entries to four.
A third track from "MUSIC," "TOXIC," earned a Top 40 debut at Number 21. The rising English alt-metal group Sleep Token celebrated their first-ever entry into the Official Singles Chart today, as their single "Emergence" debuted at Number 17.
Additionally, JADE made a powerful entrance into the chart with her high-energy banger "FUFN (F**k You For Now)," landing at Number 25, marking her second UK Top 40 entry as a solo artist.
Ravyn Lenae’s breakout hit "Love Me Not" rose one spot to a new peak of Number 26, while Lil Tecca earned his second UK Top 40 hit with the new entry "Dark Thoughts" at Number 30.
In an inspiring turn, superstar Adele made a surprise re-entry today with her debut single "Hometown Glory," now at Number 31. Originally released in 2007, the emotional ballad peaked at Number 19.
Lastly, South African-German rapper WizTheMc celebrated his first UK Top 40 hit with "Show Me Love" featuring Bees & Honey, rising 15 spots to Number 38. Austrian dance producer Ely Oaks also made his Top 40 debut with "Running Around," climbing seven spots to Number 40.
