Matt Goss,  former frontman of Bros, celebrated for their hits such as "When Will I Be Famous?", "Drop the Boy," and "Too Much," is set to take to the stage at Middleborough Town Hall tonight as part of his over hyped Hits and More tour.

Yet, the reality of ticket sales tells a different story. With only 349 tickets sold and an astonishing 802 remaining unsold, excitement for the event appears to be waning.
In response to this situation, the Town Hall box office is taking proactive measures by relocating some attendees closer to the stage and closing the balcony and gallery sections to enhance the overall experience.

Despite efforts to revitalize interest, recent performances in cities like Bristol, Blackpool, Sheffield, Newcastle, and Glasgow have seen lackluster turnouts.
In a strategic move, Goss’s team has dramatically slashed ticket prices to just £5 on Seat Filler, hoping to draw in more fans.

However, feedback from those who attended previous shows has been far from complimentary. Many have criticized the production quality as unprofessional, lamenting poor sound and a lackluster performance, particularly concerning Goss’s struggle to hit high notes.

Complaints about inadequate merchandise have also surfaced, with fans taking to social media to express their dissatisfaction.
The pressing question remains: When will Matt Goss reclaim his fame? Unfortunately, the answer seems to be never. While contemporaries like Gary Barlow, Will Young, Jason Donovan, and bands like Five are enjoying sold-out shows and reviving their careers, it is evident that Goss is struggling to connect with his once-loyal fan base.

  1. Matt I'm afraid did not put on a great show. The hall was empty apart from the usual fans I seen at other shows. I personally believe he should retire. The songs sounded somewhat dated as he still doing Vegas style version. The cover version well really bad. I should not really complain as got tickets for £5 each .

  2. I've never understood why Matt doesn't do smaller venues. He and his management team must know he can't sell out these kind of venues and that they then have to put tickets on seat filler sites. This show again was just as bad as his experience tour. I have to say his performance on stage are static and he knows fans hate the swing version of Bros hits. Again his voice is not great anymore

  3. I'm fuming because I paid full price for tickets and yet other got tickets for £5 and got better seats. I will never buy tickets again at full price.
