Is there anyone who doesn’t love Jason Donovan? Those who missed his performance at Symphony Hall on Sunday evening missed out on an magnificent  uplifting experience, as the Aussie actor, singer, and charm-master was met with enthusiastic warmth and rapturous applause.  

For fans who have followed Donovan’s journey from his early days on Ramsay Street to his diverse roles on stage and television, this show was a true celebration. 
Though years have passed, Donovan’s youthful exuberance remains intact, and his joy at being on stage inspired the audience to their feet.  

Thirty-five years after the original "Doin’ Fine" tour, Jason’s current version, "Doin’ Fine 25," offers a jubilant homage to his best-loved work. Iconic songs like "Nothing Can Divide Us," "Too Many Broken Hearts," "Especially For You," and "Sealed With A Kiss" filled the air with nostalgia.  

The evening sold out show began with a Stock Aitken Waterman mega-mix, inviting the crowd to join in and travel back to their teenage years. 
Captivating images and footage of Donovan from over three decades ago illuminated the stage, enhancing the sense of nostalgia. 
Jason knows that his audience seeks to relive those cherished moments, and he delivered with passion. His natural ability to entertain, coupled with playful banter, lit up the room and warmed the hearts of the audience on that cold, gray February night. 

Dressed in eye-catching waistcoats—first white, then raspberry pink—showing off his biceps, Donovan captivated everyone with his energetic hip-wiggling and skateboarding antics.  
As Jason himself has expressed, his musical journey has been an incredible ride, and the Symphony Hall crowd was eager to join him on that adventure. "Doin’ Fine 25" is a must-see for anyone who treasures the vibrant spirit of the pop-filled days of the late 80's and 1990s.
