Wham! make chart history as Last Christmas scores second Christmas number one crown.

Last Christmas by the iconic eighties boy band Wham! has been crowned this year's Christmas number one, making history as the first song ever to achieve this title two years in a row. 

After a remarkable 39-year wait, this festive classic, originally released in December 1984 by the talented duo George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, has once again proven its timeless appeal.

The Official Charts Company revealed that the song garnered over 12 million streams in the week leading up to Christmas, a testament to its lasting impact and the joy it brings.
